Blackout Dates

Does your gym close for a few weeks or days out of the year? No problem! Tell iClassPro to pro-rate tuition for those days by creating Blackout Schedules! Blackout Schedules can work in one of two ways:

For hourly billing, classes which would regularly meet on these days will not be charged.

HOURLY BILLING EXAMPLE: For a one hour Monday class which charges $20 per hour, iClassPro would count how many billable days there are within your billing cycle (The billing cycle could be a session or monthly), and then subtract the blackout dates from the billable days. If the billing schedule is set for monthly for this class, iClassPro would then calculate how many Monday's there are in the current calendar month.

iClassPro would count 4 Mondays in December. So, it would charge 4 x 20 and calculate a total tuition of $80. If there is a blackout date of December 26th which happens to be on a Monday, iClassPro will now count only 3 billable Mondays in December. The calculation would then be 3 x 20 = $60.

For monthly or flat rate billing, the full tuition amount will be adjusted across only the remaining billable dates in the month or session so that prorated enrollments for this period are charged from the base class price!

MONTHLY OR FLAT RATE: For a Tuesday class which charges $120 a month, iClassPro would prorate according to the number of billable days in the month (4) and divide that rate across those days ($30 per day). If one of those days was on a blackout schedule, iClassPro would remove that day from the number of billable days (now 3) and divide the tuition rate across those days (now $40 a day.)
