It’s the feedback and support from our customers that drives and enables us to make iClassPro better. 2017 was a record setting year for iClassPro. We experienced the largest single year growth in our company’s history. We are proud to be serving more customers and adding more value than ever to iClassPro through additional services and product improvements. As we gear up for an amazing 2018, it’s an opportunity to reflect on some of our favorite highlights from 2017 while setting our sights on big advancements coming up in 2018.
Top 5 Highlights from 2017
This year we introduced the new skill tracking feature to iClassPro! We completely rewrote our skill tracking module from the ground up. This featured mobile-first skill tracking in the Staff Portal and allowed for no more printing paper evaluation sheets and no more manual entry into the admin portal. Now with skill tracking, coaches can track live right alongside their students. And keep your eyes peeled! We even have some exciting skill tracking updates to announce in 2018.
This year we completed the process of moving iClassPro accounts to our new enterprise infrastructure on Amazon Web Services. This allowed for noticeable speed increases seen by customers (up to 400% on reports) as well as industry best uptimes. This migration provides both elasticity and scalability during high volume times such as first of the month billing. In addition, the new data center improvements are particularly noticeable for larger accounts that occasionally encounter speed issues when querying large volumes of data.
Responsive Parent Portal
This past summer we were able to make the Customer Portal responsive which allows your parents a better viewing experience from a phone or tablet. We made a few changes that adapt the existing content to fit better on devices with small screens. The navigation menu that is normally displayed on the left side of the screen collapses into a drop down menu at the top of the screen when displayed on mobile devices. These changes better allow your customers to connect with your business.
Makeup & Future Absence Views
This September we released an update that allowed better insight into makeups and future absences. These updates save you time and make your makeup workflow simpler. Now from the Students page, you can simply view all absences and makeups by clicking into the attendance view of a student and classes show future absences to make it easier for you to schedule makeups.
Transaction & Ledger Updates
This year we were able to update both the transaction and ledger page. The updates on the transaction page deliver a more consistent user experience across the different tasks and allow the software to perform these transactions faster than ever before. We also made minor improvements to the ledger interface that allowed for speed increases.
The GREEN check marks indicate the feature is complete and in production.
